    This is an opportunity to come in as an Human Resource professional and contribute to the continued success and growth of our client company, a high touch distributed service with a growing national presence.  The HR Coordinator is a confident and career-motivated individual who is enthusiastic and can learn the FMLA process, compliance around processing I-9, new hire training, coordinate office events and manage the newsletter.  This individual will report directly to the Director of Human Resources. The successful candidate will have excellent follow up skills, ability to work independently and with a team, strong computer skills, background in Human Resources and organizational skills including attention to detail and accuracy.  Opportunity includes competitive salary and full benefit package, in office environment in Audubon, PA.


    • Process background checks, send offers, new hire paperwork and initiate onboarding for all new hires. Collect all new hire paperwork when they arrive, complete the I-9
    • Perform support duties in Human Resources Department.
    • Maintain all Leave of Absence records, FMLA requests and Workers Compensation files
    • Responsible for sending initial FMLA communication to employees upon request, facilitating recertification process, and maintaining LOA log and files
    • Coordinate office events and activities with Office Manager
    • Maintain all Human Resources Department mail received in the PA office by opening, processing, and addressing. Responsible for escalating documents as needed.
    • Assist with recruiting and maintaining interview calendar for all temp interviews.
    • Direct contact to all temp agencies.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned for the Human Resources Department
    • Travel to our offices in New York if needed.
    • Back up to Training Manager, with the ability to administer new hire training.
    • Permanent backup to PA Reception
    • Employee Quarterly Newsletter
    • Assist Departments in seasonal hiring.



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and 1-5 years Human Resources experience
    • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
    • Knowledge of Human Resources processes, employment law, FMLA, benefits, a plus
    • Flexibility to quickly adjust to changing priorities
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and to establish effective working relationships with employees
    • Excellent written and verbal communication

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    • This is a full-time position. The days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
