    This is an opportunity to come in as an Office Administrator and contribute to the continued success and growth of our company, a high touch distributed service with a growing national presence.  This successful candidate will be responsible for serving visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. This individual will notify company personnel of visitor arrival and maintain security and telecommunications system.  This opportunity includes competitive salary and full benefit package, in office environment in Farmingdale, NY from 8:30-5:30pm.


    • Welcome visitors and callers by greeting them, answering, or referring inquiries. Routes calls appropriately.
    • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
    • Maintains security by following procedures and monitoring log book.
    • Does not allow employees to enter the main building area without their badge.
    • Reports employees with missing badges daily to the Director of HR and others.
    • Monitor that all employees are carrying a badge always.
    • Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer’s instructions for phone system.
    • Receptionist will be responsible for maintaining the conferences rooms in the building, after every meeting. the receptionist should clean off the tables, put seats back in order and be sure the blinds are open.
    • Responsible for monitoring lobby etiquette, employees should use the space in a professional manor, no loud conversations, lounging on the chairs or in appropriate behavior.
    • Receptionists will adhere to dress code always.
    • Prepares daily mail, FedEx, and UPS pick-ups.
    • Responsible for administering supply requests in a timely fashion.
    • Opens, organizes, and distributes mail to company personnel.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Handles occasional out of office errands.


    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 3 years Receptionist experience
    • Telephone skills and excellent verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • Professionalism and customer focus
    • Supply management
